🏈 High school rivals clash in final pre-conference showdown. Olentangy Liberty Patriots (1-3) face Dublin Jerome Celtics (3-1) this Friday at Celtic Stadium, with both teams preparing for upcoming conference play. The Patriots enter with momentum after securing their first season win—a narrow 10-7 victory over Olentangy Berlin—while the Celtics look to bounce back from their first defeat. Liberty dominated last year's matchup with a decisive 42-14 win. Fans can catch the 7 p.m. kickoff live on NFHS Network.
🍣 Columbus gets a new all-you-can-eat revolving sushi experience. Hokkaido Revolving Sushi will soon open on Bethel Road, offering unlimited sushi, hibachi, ramen and appetizers for $35.95 per person. Unlike Kura, the area's existing revolving sushi restaurant where each plate costs extra, Hokkaido provides a two-hour window to enjoy as much food as desired. The restaurant warns that excessive leftovers will incur additional charges, a common policy at buffets. While no opening date has been announced, Hokkaido has already shared its menu and interior photos.
🎣 Outdoor adventure awaits families at Heart of Ohio Fish and Game. The free event on Saturday, September 20 will offer hands-on activities including fishing, trap shooting, and slingshot ranges from 9am to noon. Children can participate in a youth fishing derby with poles and bait provided at the association's ponds. Various organizations will host interactive displays featuring archery, turkey call building, trapping demonstrations, habitat information, and kayaking.
