Charles "Chuck" Kozelka Chuck Kozelka of Macedonia, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at the age of 84. He served as a Detective Sergeant with the Macedonia Police Department for 27 years before retiring in 1991, and was married to his wife Jamie for 57 years. A passionate car enthusiast, Chuck owned over 300 vintage cars throughout his life and founded the Nifty Fifty's Car Club. Beyond his love for cars, he was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering for the Fighting Irish, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Cleveland teams, and was remembered for his kindness, integrity, and Louis Armstrong impression. |  |

Keith Miller Keith Miller, age 66, passed away on July 16, 2025, following a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Barberton, Ohio in 1958, his life was characterized by struggle, complexity, and resilience, as he lived on his own terms. Though he faced challenges as a father to Crystal and Kindra, he formed an especially strong bond with Crystal, who cared for him through much of his adult life. Keith was known for his sharp wit, stubborn independence, and unique way of showing love, and is survived by his daughters, grandchildren, sisters, and his loyal dog Baby Girl. |  |

Thomas Edward DeKemper Tom DeKemper, who lived with cancer for 22 years, passed away on July 19, 2025, from pneumonia and lung infections. Throughout his life, he worked at various organizations including churches, businesses, and community services, and was a member of multiple choirs. He is survived by his mother, numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Tom was grateful for the medical care he received and for the spiritual guidance from several reverends. His funeral mass will be held on July 25, 2025, at St. Eugene Church, followed by a reception and a private interment ceremony the next day. |  |

Jean Fisher Gadd Jean Fisher Gadd passed away on July 10, 2025, at Arden Courts of Bath, Ohio. Born in Akron, Ohio, she graduated from Buchtel High School in 1950, Heidelberg College in 1954, and earned her MA in Library Science from Western Reserve University in 1956. Jean married William "Bill" Eric Gadd in 1960, with whom she had two sons, and was widowed when Bill died in 1998. Throughout her life, Jean had a passion for singing in various choirs and choruses, and dedicated time to adult literacy through Project Learn of Summit County, where she tutored for about ten years and later joined the board. |  |

Born in Cleveland in 1941, she worked briefly for SOHIO before dedicating herself to her family, church, and community service as a Girl Scout leader. Janet was known for her love of reading, puzzles, cooking, and passionate support of Cleveland sports teams and her family's activities. Thomas M. Stoltz Thomas M. Stoltz Jr. ("Big Tom") passed away on July 20, 2025, after a long illness and is survived by his wife Norma Jean, several children, step-children, siblings, and other family members. He was the owner of Big Tom's Plumbing and Drain, which had just celebrated 50 years in business. Tom was a dedicated member of Faith Bible Fellowship for over 30 years, serving as Head Trustee and Head Usher for much of that time. Born in 1947, she spent her entire life in Cuyahoga Falls, working as a beautician before taking over Falls Tool Rental in 1980, which she owned for 45 years. She is survived by her husband Richard Perry, her sons, grandchildren, and a great-grandson. As per her wishes, no services will be held, and the family requests donations to the Summit County Humane Society instead of flowers. |  |

Timothy Thomas Waters Timothy T. Waters, 61, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2025, following a medical event. A lifelong resident of the Akron area, Tim was born to John and Carolyn Waters and graduated from Manchester High School in 1981 before pursuing a career in sales for a building materials distributor. Frank S. Stover Frank S. Stover, known as Skippy or Smokey, passed away on July 17, 2025, in Akron, Ohio, after a life dedicated to family and hard work.
