⚾ Philyaw shakes off rust to dominate in Ironton's 15-1 victory. The lefthander struck out five without walking anyone as the Fighting Tigers crushed Coal Grove in Ohio Valley Conference action. Ironton (13-1, 10-0 OVC) exploded for six runs in the first inning and eight more in the second, with Carson Freeman going 2-for-2 with four RBIs. In other local baseball action, Raceland topped Cabell Midland 5-2, while Boyd County shut out Huntington High 4-0 at Marshall University's field.
