🚌 Metal crunches as school buses smash in wild derby spectacle. Crowds packed the grandstands at the Ross County Fair to witness the chaotic school bus derby on August 6, 2025. Local drivers, including some from Unioto and Zane Trace schools, crashed their buses into each other as smoke billowed and parts scattered across the arena. Patrick Clevenger of Ross County Academy was among the participants in this demolition-style event that transformed ordinary school buses into battle vehicles. The sunset provided a dramatic backdrop as the sounds of destruction thrilled fairgoers in Chillicothe, Ohio.
👂 Deaf alumna transforms challenges into advocacy for disabled students. Brittany Rinehart, a 2019 Ohio University Chillicothe graduate, works as a paraprofessional supporting students with disabilities at Unioto Elementary School. Despite being born deaf and only diagnosed in high school, Rinehart gained confidence through a groundbreaking MAXUM cochlear implant during college. Her personal experience fuels her additional work at the Pioneer Center, where she advocates for individuals with disabilities and raises awareness for the hearing-impaired community. Professor Mary Jane Preece praised Rinehart for embodying "the true spirit of community" through her commitment to serving others.
Consider creating a budget that reflects your values and priorities; by tracking your spending, you can identify areas to cut back and redirect those funds toward your financial goals, making your money work for you.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
