Good morning, Ross County. Talk about a day in the life! Chillicothe police tackled a staggering 17 incidents in just 24 hours, kicking off with a suspected drug overdose shortly after midnight and continuing through a parade of thefts, traffic violations, and disorderly conduct calls. While no immediate arrests were made, the flurry of activity offers a revealing glimpse into the non-stop nature of small-town law enforcement.

Meanwhile, history came alive for 40 local children at the seventh annual Liberty Camp, where Revolutionary War lessons transformed into hands-on colonial experiences like traditional butter-making and historical reenactments. And as the Ross County Fair prepares to kick off, six local heroes received well-deserved recognition for their community contributions, from Richard Ginther's four decades of service to the promising young 4-H stars shaping our county's future. Don't miss the new traffic patterns designed to improve your fair experience!
