Good morning, Ross County. In the span of just 24 hours, Chillicothe's police force tackled everything from warrant services to dog bites, showcasing the remarkable diversity of challenges our local officers face daily. While they were responding to disorderly conduct outside local establishments and conducting welfare checks across town, they also investigated an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on West Main Street—all part of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our community functioning.

Meanwhile, the aroma of success continues to percolate at Rost Coffee Company, which just secured an $18,750 expansion grant from Fluor-BWXT and JEDISO. This downtown anchor, established in 2016, has literally outgrown its walls due to community demand. And as we celebrate growth, we also honor legacy—craftsman Phillip Hicks, who recently passed away at 64, leaves behind not just skilled handiwork but 52 years of beautiful memories with his wife Gina, built around fishing trips and their special outings to Jack in the Box.
