Good morning, Preble County. A potentially dangerous situation is unfolding just across the county line as a gas leak has forced authorities to shut down westbound lanes of State Route 725 in Montgomery County. The sheriff's office is actively managing the situation between Paragon Road and Congress Park Drive, with updates promised once the road reopens. This serves as a timely reminder of how quickly infrastructure issues can disrupt our daily routines and the importance of emergency preparedness.

In real estate news, a significant transaction has reshaped the student housing landscape near Miami University, with Minneapolis firm Rise Select acquiring the 756-bed Level 27 apartments for a hefty $13.9 million. Meanwhile, the Englewood entertainment scene experienced an unexpected twist as Next Level Game Lounge mysteriously closed its doors just weeks after its grand opening in February, leaving customers and city officials alike wondering what happened to those ambitious plans for axe throwing and retro gaming experiences.
