After crashing a stolen vehicle near I-70 in Englewood around 3 a.m. Sunday, Christian Black attempted a dramatic getaway by jumping a fence and swimming across a pond near Walmart. Police officers, guided by dispatchers monitoring traffic cameras, were waiting on the other side when the soaking wet suspect emerged. Black was checked by medics before being taken to Montgomery County Jail on charges of receiving stolen property and obstruction of official business.
