🏥 Hospital glow-up

Pickaway County • January 29, 2025

Good morning, Pickaway County. A $10 million transformation is about to turn OhioHealth Berger Hospital into something straight out of "Grey's Anatomy" – minus the workplace drama. With private recovery rooms replacing curtained spaces and surgical suites getting a high-tech makeover that includes $300,000 worth of advanced lighting, our local healthcare is leaping into the future faster than you can say "scalpel."

Meanwhile, our local first responders have been writing their own intense scripts. A serious two-vehicle collision at Tarlton Adelphi intersection required not one but two medical helicopters, while Circleville's police force tackled 29 incidents in a single day – proving that in Pickaway County, there's enough real-life action to fill a whole season of "Emergency!"

🏥 Ohio hospital launches $10 million upgrade to revolutionize patient care. OhioHealth Berger Hospital in Circleville is entering phase two of its ambitious expansion project, which includes modernizing surgery centers and adding private recovery rooms. The improvements, beginning January 2025, will transform pre-surgery areas, post-anesthesia care units, and waiting rooms from curtained spaces to private environments. The hospital is also investing in cutting-edge technology, including new hyperbaric oxygen chambers and $300,000 worth of advanced surgical lighting. These enhancements build upon last year's addition of a robotics-equipped operating room, positioning Berger Hospital as a leading healthcare provider in the community.
