🏥 Hospital heroics

Pickaway County • January 28, 2025

Good morning, Pickaway County. If you thought $10 million was just the budget for the latest Marvel movie, think again. That's the price tag on OhioHealth Berger Hospital's dramatic makeover, complete with private rooms, robotic operating suites, and enough high-tech gadgets to make Tony Stark jealous. This healthcare upgrade isn't just changing the scenery – it's revolutionizing how our community receives medical care.

Speaking of dramatic rescues, our local emergency crews pulled off their own blockbuster moment this week, saving a Labrador from an icy pond. And while that heartwarming tale could headline any feel-good movie, BJ's Wholesale Club is writing its own success story by bringing 250 new jobs to Commercial Point. Between medical innovations, heroic rescues, and economic growth, Pickaway County is starting to feel like its own streaming series – and we're just getting to the good parts.
