Good morning, Muskingum County. Time has a way of preserving our most ordinary moments in amber. A newly surfaced photo gallery from 2010 offers a nostalgic glimpse into our community's past—capturing everything from Liberty Union cross country practice to firefighters collecting donations for muscular dystrophy. These seemingly mundane snapshots now serve as fascinating time capsules of life just a decade ago, before smartphones dominated our every interaction.

In less nostalgic news, a significant tax fraud case has reached its conclusion as a Popeyes franchise owner pleaded guilty to a $2.4 million scheme involving restaurants across multiple states, including one in Zanesville. Meanwhile, as autumn approaches, adventure awaits within a short drive—from Barnesville's Pumpkin Festival featuring giant gourd weigh-offs to Mohican Valley's inaugural Bigfoot Festival. These seasonal getaways offer the perfect excuse to embrace fall's colorful transformation.
