Muskingum County • June 26, 2025
Good morning, Muskingum County. The sound of clucking chickens, Broadway tunes, and roaring engines will fill our summer air as a unique lineup of events heads our way. PETA's attention-grabbing chicken truck makes a stop at Tee Jaye's this Sunday, while Muskingum University students prepare to showcase their theatrical talents on June 28. Meanwhile, The Wilds' aquatic ecology program and OUZ's tick education workshops remind us that learning doesn't take a summer vacation in our education-focused community.
Creative spirits will have their moment to shine as the Zanesville Museum of Art transforms into a colorful Lego wonderland on July 20, with master builders judging impressive brick creations. Before that, the fairgrounds will rumble this weekend with the second annual Summer Pull, where tractors and trucks compete for bragging rights while visitors enjoy food and festivities for just $5-10 admission. Who knew our county could pack so much excitement into a single summer week?
