Good morning, Muskingum County. The golden age of bowling has lost one of its brightest stars with the passing of Allie Clarke at 81. The three-time PBA Tour winner who owned Maysville All-Star Lanes for 22 years wasn't just known for his animated style that helped popularize the sport—he became a cornerstone of Zanesville's bowling community, mentoring generations with his expertise and what Hall of Famer Ted Hannahs described as "master storyteller" abilities.

Downtown business owners can finally exhale after police arrested a suspect connected to the May 7 break-ins that targeted multiple establishments, including the Art Gallery and three local churches. Meanwhile, beer enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as nearby Wooly Pig Farm Brewery in Coshocton County brought home silver at the World Beer Cup for its Rye Dunkel—proving that rural Ohio is brewing world-class German-style excellence right in our backyard.
