Good morning, Muskingum County. Behind every successful hospital stands an army of unsung heroes wearing volunteer badges. At Southeastern Medical Center, 55 remarkable individuals contributed over 8,500 hours last year, transforming clinical corridors into places of comfort and healing. From 18-year-old newcomers to 93-year-old veterans like Jean Morgan, who has dedicated an astonishing 23,000 hours of her life to helping others, these volunteers embody the "Bright Lights – Big Hearts" theme that defines healthcare at its most human.

Meanwhile, spring traditions continue as John Glenn High School prepares for its May 3rd prom at Pritchard Laughlin Center, with nostalgic photos from 2017 reminding us how quickly these milestone moments become cherished memories. On the diamond, Zanesville's baseball team gave fans plenty to cheer about Monday, dominating Licking Heights 10-2 behind pitcher Caleb Underwood's stellar five-inning performance at Jay Payton Field.
