Good morning, Muskingum County. The stars aligned this April as local high schools transformed ordinary venues into magical wonderlands for prom season. Maysville's "Enchanted Evening" and Zanesville's celestial "Night Among the Stars" celebrations brought out formal attire, glamorous photo opportunities, and youthful excitement. Photographer Shawn Digity captured these milestone moments for posterity as students danced the night away, from the elegant promenades to after-party festivities featuring innovative entertainment like the whimsical "glam bot" and bubble blowers.

While teens created sparkling memories on the dance floor, Barnesville High School students are preparing to make a different kind of impact with their upcoming Blood Bash. The 41st annual student-led blood drive on May 9 offers donors not just the satisfaction of saving lives, but also the chance to win a Universal Epic Universe vacation package. This remarkable tradition combines real-world leadership experience with critical support for patients undergoing surgery and treatment across the nation's hospitals.
