
🕊️ Jeri Latham's vibrant 84-year life celebrated in Coshocton community. The West Lafayette native passed away April 15, leaving behind a legacy of service through her work at various businesses and volunteering with the Pink Ladies at Coshocton Hospital. Known for her love of sewing, collecting dolls, and attending yard sales, Jeri was a devoted member of the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her five children, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many who will cherish memories of Sunday nights at Nana's.

🏫 Veteran educator Johnston steps up as Cambridge Intermediate's new principal. With 22 years of experience, Michelle Johnston has served the Cambridge School District since 2007 in various roles including English teacher, STEM instructor, and most recently as middle school assistant principal. She holds degrees from Calvin University and Muskingum University, plus a certificate in educational leadership from Salem University. Superintendent Dan Coffman praised the appointment, noting that having dedicated educators who want leadership roles makes administrative changes easier. Johnston succeeds Jennifer Lorenz in this position, continuing her educational leadership journey within the district.

🏛️ Historic Zane Grey celebration returns to Norwich this April. The annual Zane Grey Family Day will take place on April 26 at the National Road & Zane Grey Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can enjoy live music by Ethan Timm, watch a vintage baseball game, and receive free sugar maple seedlings in honor of Arbor Day. The free event includes children's activities, craft vendors, campfire cooking demonstrations, and food trucks, with all proceeds supporting the museum's educational programming. The National Road & Zane Grey Museum will officially open for its regular season on May 1.
