Good morning, Meigs County. Three decades of community support deserves celebration, and that's exactly what the Mid-Ohio Valley Post-Polio Group has achieved. Their 31-year milestone gathering featured American Red Cross volunteer Luke Zyla sharing vital information about free smoke detector availability, while beautiful artwork from Artbeat Studio artists provided a fitting backdrop to this testament of enduring community service.

Local governance is evolving in Belpre, where City Council has shifted meeting times to 6:30 p.m. starting next month and advanced a $110,000 generator project for emergency well power. Meanwhile, music lovers have a perfect Thursday evening planned as Highway 7 takes the stage at Parkersburg City Park for Artsbridge's Summer Music Series. This free concert kicks off at 6:30 p.m., continuing a tradition that brings community together while supporting arts programs throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley.
