Gallia County • June 9, 2025
Good morning, Gallia County. The heart of Gallipolis is beating stronger than ever as First Friday festivities returned to downtown this weekend, bringing the community together for an evening of classic cars, shopping, and celebration. This cornerstone of the Downtown Revitalization Project has become what one visitor called "a small town with a pulse," raising funds for community initiatives while creating a vibrant social hub where neighbors reconnect under summer skies.
Just across the river, LeSage Natural is making waves of a different kind as the nonprofit prepares to supply award-winning bottled water to over 400 West Virginia state agencies starting July 1. What makes this story especially refreshing isn't just their pure water from a 100-foot deep-sealed well, but the 40+ workers with developmental disabilities who bottle it, proving that meaningful employment opportunities can flow as naturally as the spring water they're famous for.
