Good morning, Fairfield County. Talk about a comeback story! The Lancaster Golden Gales baseball team showed their resilience this week, storming back from a 3-0 deficit to claim a 7-3 victory over Teays Valley. The win catapults them into first place in their division with an impressive 11-3 overall record – proving that sometimes the most exciting part of the game happens after the seventh-inning stretch.

While thousands of Ohioans are still recovering from Tuesday's powerful storms that left 45,000 residents in the dark, local sci-fi enthusiasts have something electrifying on the horizon. Mark your calendars for May 2025, when the Decorative Arts Center will transform into a Star Trek paradise featuring nearly 150 original props and artifacts. From Vulcan tea sets to interactive workshops, it's sure to be an event that would make Captain Kirk himself exclaim, "Fascinating!"
