Good morning, Fairfield County. Central Ohio certainly got a thorough soaking this past Friday, with Cleveland topping the rainfall charts at 1.24 inches. While we're drying out for a few days with temperatures climbing to the mid-60s by Sunday, Mother Nature isn't done with us yet - Tuesday's forecast warns of potentially stronger thunderstorms that could rival the recent system that left 24,000 Ohioans without power.

Meanwhile, as our region experiences unprecedented growth, a new survey reveals what many residents already feel in their wallets - housing affordability has become a genuine crisis. The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission findings highlight how basic necessities like housing, job access, and childcare have transformed into major economic barriers for families across the Columbus metro area. These kitchen-table issues are increasingly viewed as critical to our region's economic future.
