Good morning, Fairfield County. Wisconsin's beloved butter-burgers are making their way to Canal Winchester as Culver's plans its fourth Central Ohio location on Gender Road. The 4,386-square-foot drive-thru restaurant joins the chain's expanding footprint of over 800 locations across 25 states, bringing its signature frozen custard treats closer to local residents. While one business grows, conservation groups are working diligently to preserve what makes our region special – the rural landscapes and natural habitats that define Central Ohio's character beyond the suburbs.

A troubling incident has shaken the community as a Lancaster man faces serious charges following a Sunday evening hit-and-run. The pedestrian struck on East Main Street remains in critical condition at a Columbus hospital after initially receiving treatment locally. Ralph Davis, 47, now confronts multiple felony charges including aggravated vehicular assault and operating a vehicle under the influence as the investigation continues.
