🙏 In Remembrance

Vyona R. Crites

Vyona R. Crites, 81, of Belpre, OH, passed away on May 12, 2025, at her residence. Born in Sabine, WV, in 1944 to James and Zetta Milam, she is survived by her husband Larry, her children Shirley and Michael, seven grandchildren, three sisters, two uncles, and three step-sons. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, two brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services will be held on May 16, 2025, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, with visitation the day before.

Vyona R. Crites

Larry W. Birchfield

Larry W. Birchfield, 74, of Albany, passed away unexpectedly while hunting on May 11, 2025. He was born in West Virginia in 1951 and retired after 29 years with Southern Ohio Coal, having also served as a volunteer firefighter and being an avid outdoorsman. Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruthann, along with a daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a brother, and numerous extended family members. Following visitation at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, funeral services will be held with cremation afterward, and the family requests memorial donations to Columbia Township Volunteer Fire Department in lieu of flowers.
