Good morning, Vinton County. The clock is ticking for Ohio University's audit committee, with some departments facing review gaps spanning 7-12 years. With their team finally fully staffed after a four-year vacancy, they're proposing a shift to calendar-year planning to tackle the university's 160 auditable units more efficiently. It's a behind-the-scenes change that could bring more accountability to an institution that touches many lives throughout our region.

Meanwhile, music lovers were treated to an electrifying experience as My Morning Jacket rocked Athens with a two-hour performance that drew superfans from across the Midwest. Closer to home, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are spreading kindness through thoughtful donations, delivering comfort dolls to Adena Health Center and fleece blankets to the Ross County Sheriff's Office for emergency situations—proving that sometimes the most meaningful gifts are those that offer comfort when it's needed most.
