πŸ™ Faith meets wellness

Vinton County • April 3, 2025

Good morning, Vinton County. The intersection of faith and mental health takes center stage this weekend as the Mountains Move Conference brings its message of healing to Wellston. This Saturday's free event at World Outreach Ministries offers a timely reminder that emotional wellness deserves our community's attention – providing spiritual support through worship experiences and teachings for anyone seeking encouragement, whether you register in advance or simply show up.

Meanwhile, both civic engagement and school governance are making headlines across the county. Residents are organizing a nonpartisan "Day of Action" demonstration this Saturday in downtown McArthur, inviting community members to voice concerns about various local issues. In administrative matters, the Vinton County school board has called a special Sunday meeting focused on personnel considerations, continuing their commitment to accessible public proceedings with accommodations available for disabled individuals who wish to participate.
