Good morning, Union County. Ohio's emergency management experts have quietly established themselves as national leaders in disaster preparedness, maintaining their prestigious accreditation since 2008. This behind-the-scenes excellence means that when emergencies strike our community, a well-oiled response machine springs into action across government levels – a reassuring thought as we head into unpredictable fall weather patterns.

Meanwhile, traditions both new and old are making headlines across the county. Benjamin Logan High School celebrated royalty with Hadley Boysel and Carter Daniels crowned as Homecoming Queen and King, complete with adorable kindergarten counterparts. In less festive news for local foodies, celebrity chef Josh Dalton is closing two more Central Ohio restaurants, including Delaware's Rosebud's – so mark your calendars for October 11th if you want one last taste of that legendary burger before it disappears.
