Good morning, Union County. A curve in the road changed everything for a Lexington teenager Thursday morning when their Honda Civic crossed into oncoming traffic on Ohio 314, resulting in serious injuries. The 16-year-old driver was transported to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital while the 62-year-old pickup driver fortunately escaped with minor injuries. Meanwhile, Marysville's Lady Monarchs volleyball team has something to celebrate after defeating Hilliard Darby in four sets, improving to 9-7 overall as Coach Miller notes the win represents "another step forward" in their season progression.

Who knew Ohio's most authentic fish and chips were hiding in landlocked Pataskala? Family Destinations travel guide has crowned Rusty's Wharf as serving seafood worthy of a coastal destination, complete with perfectly crisp battered cod and hand-cut chips that strike the ideal balance between crispy and fluffy. Their clam chowder apparently "deserves its own standing ovation" — making this 15-year-old mom & pop restaurant on Hazelton-Etna Road a hidden gem worth discovering.
