Good morning, Union County. Ohio's waterways are calling this summer with trophy-sized opportunities for anglers of all ages. The ODNR Division of Wildlife reports North Central Ohio's lakes are teeming with yellow perch, largemouth bass, and crappie just waiting to be caught. Mark your calendars for June 14-15's Free Fishing Days when licenses are waived, while the youngsters among us can always cast their lines without paperwork. From Clear Fork's impressive bass to Pleasant Hill's abundant crappie, local fishing spots are ready to help you earn those commemorative Fish Ohio pins.

For those who prefer crafted beverages to casting lines, Dublin's newest hotspot deserves attention. Bridge's End Brewing Co. has transformed a surgeon's 30-year homebrewing passion into a 9,000-square-foot destination featuring European-inspired beers and upscale dining. Meanwhile, local pride continues on the court as the BTY boys basketball team dominated their season with an astounding 40-1 record, capturing the Battle Royale tournament championship in impressive fashion.

🍺 Dublin's newest brewery blends European beers with upscale dining. Bridge's End Brewing Co. opened May 21 in Shawnee Hills, founded by former surgeon Bill Schirmer who turned his 30-year homebrewing hobby into a business. The spacious 9,000-square-foot venue offers 10 draft beers (mostly 5-6% ABV), craft cocktails, and an extensive food menu featuring salads, pizzas, and sandwiches. With its indoor-outdoor flow through garage doors, double-sided fireplace, and comfortable leather seating, the brewery has already proven popular during the Memorial Tournament.
