A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Bowling Green State University, she devoted 40 years to teaching elementary school in the Twinsburg school system. Shirley was known for her sharp mind, love of reading, generosity, unique humor, and remarkable courage, having twice overcome cancer. A memorial gathering will be held on June 27, 2025, at Busch-Romito Funeral Home, with memorial contributions suggested to the City Mission in honor of her concern for fighting hunger. |  |

Gregory Novak Gregory Mark Novak passed away on June 13th, born on January 14th, 1952 in Akron, Ohio. He had a passion for cars and worked as a mechanic in Florida before returning to Akron to be with his brother Vincent. Gregory was predeceased by his parents and sister Rebecca, and is survived by his brothers Chester, Jerome, Vincent, sister Cynthia, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
