Good morning, Summit County. The soundtrack of summer is filling the air as Akron's bicentennial celebration brings free concerts to parks citywide through August. From the soulful notes of blues bands at Hardesty Park to jazz ensembles at Firestone Park, residents can enjoy live music under evening skies from 7-9 PM. Mayor Malik's musical initiative perfectly complements the upcoming Community Bicentennial Celebration Festivals, where food trucks and family activities will create neighborhood gathering spots across the city.

Meanwhile, second chances are taking center stage at the Stow Municipal Court's Record Sealing and Expungement Clinic on June 25. This free service connects residents with volunteer attorneys who can help clear eligible criminal records—removing barriers to employment and housing opportunities. And for those planning Father's Day weekend, choices abound: from admiring 400 classic cars at Stan Hywet Hall to enjoying special brunches with live music, before Mumford & Sons takes the stage at Blossom Music Center.
