Good morning, Summit County. A century of aviation history will paint the skies blue and gold next week as Goodyear celebrates its iconic blimps with a rare three-ship formation. Wingfoot One, Two, and Three will soar together over Akron from June 3-5, offering spectacular views at Wingfoot Lake State Park, Lock 3, and Canal Park. It's a fitting tribute to an aerial legacy that began in 1925 when "Pilgrim" first took flight, eventually traveling 95,000 miles and revolutionizing corporate public relations.

Meanwhile, Summit County faces contrasting extremes this week. The mercury will climb to nearly 90 degrees by Wednesday, bringing the season's first real taste of summer heat along with a smoky haze from distant wildfires. In more sobering news, the Akron community mourns 24-year-old Ontario Bradley, who was fatally shot early Friday morning in Goodyear Heights. Police continue investigating the tragedy and urge anyone with information to come forward.
