Good morning, Summit County. After days of gray skies and raincoats, a meteorological plot twist awaits this weekend. While we're stuck in a chilly, wet pattern through Saturday with temperatures hovering in the 60s, Sunday promises to deliver the sunshine we've been craving. The weather finally remembers it's almost summer, with temperatures climbing toward a balmy 83 degrees by Tuesday—perfect timing for all those outdoor events on the horizon.

Speaking of which, Cuyahoga Falls is transforming into entertainment central this summer with a packed calendar of free events. From Carlos Jones at Falls Downtown Friday to heritage festivals celebrating Irish, Italian, and German cultures, there's something for everyone. Meanwhile, in more sobering news, an alleged shooter who fired into a crowd at an Akron party center earlier this month has surrendered to police, with 36-year-old Bikash Tamang now facing multiple felony charges after the May 3 incident.
