Good morning, Summit County. Northeast Ohio's own Maynard James Keenan proved you can go home again, bringing his musical trinity to Blossom Music Center for an epic 60th birthday celebration. The Akron-born rock icon's "Sessanta" tour transformed the venue into a double-decker musical playground where Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer alternated sets with the precision of a well-oiled machine, all while reflecting on how his formative years in our region shaped his artistic journey.

On a different stage, an unsung hero emerged at Akron's Case CLC when a quick-thinking custodian extinguished a restroom fire before it could spread, demonstrating that not all heroes wear capes—some carry fire extinguishers. Meanwhile, local medical experts are sounding the alarm on TikTok's paradoxical effect on children with ADHD, noting the platform simultaneously builds community while potentially exacerbating attention challenges through its addictive short-form content. It's a digital double-edged sword requiring careful navigation.

🎸 Rock legend Maynard James Keenan turns 60ish with epic concert. The Tool frontman brought his "Sessanta" tour to Blossom Music Center, featuring his bands A Perfect Circle and Puscifer alongside Primus for a three-hour musical marathon. The unique format had all three bands alternating short sets on a double-decker stage, occasionally collaborating on songs while maintaining a relaxed camaraderie despite the intense music. Keenan, who was born in Akron and spent his early years in Ravenna, reflected on how those difficult Ohio experiences shaped him before ending the show with all bands performing Puscifer's "Grand Canyon" together.

🧠 TikTok both helps and hurts kids with ADHD, experts warn. Dr. Michael Redovian of Akron Children's Hospital explains that while social media platforms can build community for those with attention disorders, they're a double-edged sword. The constant scrolling through short videos can potentially worsen attention issues, with some believing it might even cause ADD symptoms. He recommends limiting social media consumption and finding balance, especially for children with attention challenges. Effective treatments and medications remain available for children diagnosed with these conditions.
