Good morning, Summit County. The sweet sound of musical investment is echoing through Northeast Ohio as Grammy winner Laufey establishes a foundation supporting youth orchestras—with Cleveland's Youth Orchestra among the first beneficiaries. The 26-year-old jazz sensation, who credits childhood scholarships for her meteoric rise, will bring her talents to Blossom Music Center this August for what promises to be a magical symphony collaboration. Meanwhile, West Akron's Kerr Park has undergone its own harmonious transformation with resurfaced courts, safer walkways, and new amenities ready to debut at a community celebration on May 3.

Over in Suffield, laughter recently filled the air during the sold-out "Laugh at the Lake" comedy night, while children's delight was equally palpable at the Easter Egg Hunt. Looking ahead, Mother's Day flower enthusiasts should mark their calendars for the Lions Club Rose Sale on May 10, offering fresh dozens at $25. For aviation buffs, something truly spectacular approaches—all three Goodyear Blimps will converge at Wingfoot Lake State Park on June 3, creating a once-in-a-century aerial spectacle worth witnessing.
