🍷 Vineyard victory

Stark County • April 8, 2025

Good morning, Stark County. Fifteen years ago, a modest vineyard planted roots in Canton—today, Gervasi Vineyard Resort & Spa stands as a Tuscan-inspired crown jewel of the region, complete with award-winning wines, spirits, and luxury accommodations. The local success story mirrors the exciting travel developments at Akron-Canton Airport, where Breeze Airways is reviving its nonstop Florida escape route to West Palm Beach this September, creating both convenient getaways and over 60 new local jobs.

While some locals might be planning their winter sunshine getaways, others are marking their calendars for a different kind of escape—Cole Swindell's return to Canton. Fresh from a previous sold-out performance, the country star brings his aptly named "Happy Hour Sad Tour" to the Memorial Civic Center on September 5. The Grammy-winning artist is celebrating both his upcoming fifth album and soon-to-arrive first child, promising a performance filled with both chart-toppers and fresh material.
