The Fighting Tigers defeated Minford Falcons 4-0 to claim their first Division 5 district championship in 22 years at Bob Wren Stadium on Saturday. Ginger was dominant, facing just one batter over the minimum while striking out six and walking only one. Tanner Kleinman led the offense with two hits and two RBIs, while Ironton scored two runs in both the second and sixth innings. The Fighting Tigers (18-3) advance to play Cincinnati Miami Valley Christian Academy on Tuesday at Mason High School.
