Good morning, Scioto County. Eagles soaring overhead, the rush of water against your paddle, and the thrill of navigating currents await adventurous locals at the upcoming P-Town Float. This challenging Scioto River journey launching May 31 isn't for beginners, but experienced paddlers will be rewarded with wildlife sightings and new friendships. Just remember your life vest—this isn't your average lazy river float!

While some seek adventure on the water, others find comfort in tradition at Crisp's Dairy Treat, now celebrating its remarkable 65-year milestone in Summit. The family-run institution continues serving up those customer-favorite onion rings and milkshakes that have defined summer memories since 1960. Meanwhile, in Ashland, a weight loss clinic faces scrutiny as the second local establishment accused of administering non-FDA approved semaglutide treatments, raising concerns about consumer safety.
