𦴠Teen hikers stumble upon mysterious bone fragments near Ironton tunnel. Lawrence County officials say the fragments are very small and likely quite old, with no cause for public alarm. A large-scale search of the hillside where the teens made their discovery revealed no additional remains. Experts from Montgomery County and an anthropology team are now working to determine whether the fragments are human or animal, a process that could take more than a month. "It's an old, isolated incident with no danger to the community whatsoever," assured Drew Artis, chief investigator with the Lawrence County Coroner's office.
