πŸ”₯ Diamond perfection

Good morning, Scioto County. Diamonds are forever, but a no-hitter? That's the kind of fleeting perfection worth celebrating. Ironton's Braydon Baker just etched his name in local sports lore, overcoming early jitters to retire 13 consecutive Chesapeake batters in a commanding 14-0 victory. The Fighting Tigers' offense wasn't shy either, exploding for 12 runs in a single inning as they improved to an unblemished 4-0 record in their campaign.

While athletic achievements grab headlines, it's the quiet champions of education who often make the most lasting impact. East Carter counselor Bill Billman exemplifies this truth, earning ACTC's Pathfinder Award for his exceptional work connecting students with post-secondary opportunities. Described by colleagues as an "East Carter legend," Billman's dedication to guiding young minds toward promising futures represents the kind of behind-the-scenes heroism that strengthens our entire community's foundation.
