🏀 Three-Point Party

Scioto County • January 27, 2025

Good morning, Scioto County. Move over, Steph Curry - there's a new three-point show in town. Ironton's Fighting Tigers just shattered their school record by draining an eye-popping 17 shots from beyond the arc, with Braden Schreck channeling his inner sharpshooter for a perfect 5-for-5 performance. Speaking of Schreck, the standout player isn't just making it rain from downtown - he's also joining the exclusive 1,500-point club while keeping his teammates involved with 8 assists in a crucial conference victory.

While basketballs are finding nothing but net on the court, our local food pantry is facing a different kind of challenge. Harvest for the Hungry has seen demand surge 14% in just one year, now serving over 18,800 community members. As they work to keep their shelves stocked and lights on, they're reminding us that sometimes the most important assists happen off the court.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
