Andy Tomlinson marked Flag Day by distributing American flags and meals to community members at his Chillicothe and Washington Court House offices. This tradition, now in approximately its ninth year, represents Tomlinson's way of giving back to the community. The Chillicothe event ran from 11am to 1pm, while the Washington Court House distribution followed from 3pm to 5pm. Drivers lined up behind Tomlinson's West Main Street agency to participate in this annual patriotic gesture.
🚗 Two-vehicle crash injures multiple people, including four children. The accident occurred on June 14 at the intersection of Kingston Pike and Tarlton Pike in Pickaway Township, Ohio. A 75-year-old woman failed to yield after stopping at a stop sign, causing her Nissan Versa to collide with a Nissan Armada carrying seven people. The driver of the Versa was cited for failure to yield, while all occupants of the Armada, including four children between ages 6-10, sustained injuries ranging from possible to minor. Wet road conditions were contributing factors in the crash that required nearly two hours to investigate.

An individual is in custody for multiple violations including probation violations and contempt of court. The charges are being handled by the Ross County Sheriff's Office.
Another individual has been arrested for failure to appear in court and issues related to irresponsible pet ownership, specifically with dangerous dogs. This incident was handled by the Chillicothe Police Department.
A person was taken into custody for refusing a chemical test while driving under the influence, in addition to charges related to drug paraphernalia and driving under OVI suspension. The arrest was made by the Ross County Sheriff's Office.
An individual faces multiple charges for theft without consent, which are related to several instances of stealing. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is managing this case.
