Ross County • April 7, 2025
Good morning, Ross County. Twenty-two incidents in just one day kept Chillicothe police officers hustling across town like honeybees in springtime. From warrant arrests and traffic violations to domestic disputes and vehicle thefts, April 4th showcased the diverse challenges our local law enforcement faces daily. Meanwhile, the future of Bridge Street is getting a $17.7 million makeover that promises to transform one of our busiest corridors with additional lanes, a new roundabout, and pedestrian-friendly improvements.
While infrastructure changes unfold, Chillicothe High School is building bridges of its own through its upcoming Resource Fair on April 25th. The student-led initiative will connect teens with employers, businesses, and community organizations through interactive activities at Hatton Gym. As coordinator Vicki Bartlett notes, it's a fantastic opportunity for students to explore various pathways—proving that Ross County invests not just in its roads, but in its rising generation too.
