Richard Lee Alexander

Richard Lee Alexander, 59, of Lucasville, passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2024. Born on August 7, 1965, in Chillicothe, Ohio, he was the son of Ralph and Sondra K. Howard Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Linda Ison; children, Latosha Detty, Heather Boyer, Brandon Detty, and Joshua Detty; ten grandchildren; and siblings, among others. Richard, a graduate of Chillicothe High School, previously worked as an Assistant Manager for Piketon Parts. Funeral services will be held on December 20, 2024, at the WARE FUNERAL HOME in Chillicothe.

Rodney Lee Dixon

Rodney Lee Dixon, 76, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center. Born on September 26, 1948, in Ross County, Ohio, he was the son of Floyd and Mary Ann Soummers Dixon and was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Lawhorn, in 2013. He is survived by his sisters, brothers, stepchildren, and numerous relatives. Rodney retired as a painter from IBI and his funeral will be held on December 19, 2024, at WARE FUNERAL HOME, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Dorothy Jane (Fauber) Compher, born December 20, 1929, in Highland County, passed away on December 14, 2024. She married Vernon L. Compher on July 26, 1949, and together they had four children. Dorothy was a beloved grandmother to eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and she valued her relationships with family and friends deeply. A graduate of Hillsboro High School, she co-founded Eagle News in Chillicothe and was known for her strong faith and collection of memories. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and several family members, and services are scheduled for December 19 and 20, 2024.

Jeremy Page, 52, of Wellston, formerly from Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2024, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Born on July 30, 1972, he is survived by his parents, Dean and Janet Page, his partner Tammy Lambert, three children, several siblings, grandchildren, and extended family. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents. A celebration of his life will take place on January 4, 2025, at God's Community Outreach in Chillicothe. Memorial contributions can be made to Ware Funeral Home in lieu of flowers.
