Good morning, Preble County. The future has arrived in local classrooms as Miami Valley Career Tech Center embraces AI education through Magic School, a platform already used by 120 Ohio districts. This technological shift mirrors how Google once transformed learning—with administrators emphasizing that AI should enhance education rather than replace student effort, while teachers receive specialized training to guide ethical implementation and protect student privacy.

From high-tech classrooms to garage laboratories, Miami University geology professor Todd Dupont brings scientific precision to his homebrewing passion, meticulously crafting beer through a 4-6 week process that began the moment he arrived in Oxford in 2014. Meanwhile, Wayne County recently honored fallen heroes with an emotional 9/11 ceremony featuring the Global War on Terrorism Traveling Wall, where Senator Jeff Raatz delivered a proclamation as attendees paid respects through wreath-laying ceremonies for victims, police, firefighters, and emergency personnel.

🍺 Professor Todd Dupont brews beer with scientific precision in his garage. The Miami University geology professor started homebrewing immediately after arriving in Oxford in 2014, setting up equipment before even unpacking his bags. Dupont, who teaches courses on climate change and environmental geology, developed his passion while working at UC Irvine. His meticulous brewing process takes four to six weeks, involving milled barley, wort preparation, yeast fermentation and optional hop additions. Though he can't sell his creations, Dupont shares his homebrews with friends and colleagues, who confirm his skill—even occasionally trading beer for venison sausage.
