🍩 New family-owned donut shop brings sweet treats to Middletown. Bismarck Donuts & Coffee will open its doors on Roosevelt Boulevard this October, offering a variety of classic and seasonal donuts alongside specialty coffee drinks. Owners Kim Lim and Veng Ngob, who already operate locations in Richmond, Greenville, and soon Liberty Township, were drawn to the prime corner location with stoplight visibility. Beyond donuts, customers can enjoy breakfast sandwiches and biscuits and gravy from 5am to 1pm daily, with both drive-thru and indoor seating available.
🧽 Miamisburg car care landmark demolished for new car wash chain. The former Ron's Car Care site on East Central Avenue is being transformed into a Flying Ace Express Car Wash, marking the company's second Miamisburg location. The new facility will feature an automated wash tunnel capable of queuing 48 vehicles alongside 16 vacuum stations. Ron's Car Care, which operated in Miamisburg since 1976, has consolidated its operations to its Moraine location. Flying Ace, part of Express Wash Concepts which operates 123 locations across six states, purchased the property for over $1.5 million as part of its expansion plan.
🚧 Gas line hit in Trotwood forces two-hour school delay. The incident occurred on Union Road during construction work by a third-party contractor Wednesday evening, causing safety concerns for students on the main campus. CenterPoint Energy crews responded to the scene, made necessary repairs, and restored gas service to the Trotwood-Madison main campus Thursday morning. North Union Road was closed in both directions near the high school during the incident. The delay affected all students and buildings in the Trotwood Madison City Schools district.
