🍔 Oxford's oldest student bar shines in national restaurant spotlight. Mac and Joe's, a staple since 1946, was recently featured by America's Best Restaurants (ABR), which travels the country highlighting independent eateries. ABR was drawn to the restaurant's old-school bar-and-grill atmosphere and the owners' hands-on approach. Current owners Jim and Jenny Kuykendoll, both Miami University alumni, took over the business in 2021 following the death of Jim's stepfather. The feature is expected to be released on ABR's social media platforms between late July and August.
