Good morning, Preble County. In an unsettling sign of the times, an Applebee's in nearby Miamisburg temporarily closed its doors after being defaced with antisemitic symbols. The swift reopening the following day speaks to a community's resilience in the face of hate, with local leaders including Mayor Michelle Collins strongly condemning the isolated incident. Meanwhile, on a much brighter note, Arcanum-Butler Schools is celebrating the unsung heroes who keep education running smoothly—from administrative professionals to transportation teams whose behind-the-scenes work makes learning possible.

Fresh voices are hitting the airwaves as "From the Editor's Desk" launches, giving listeners a backstage pass to The Miami Student newspaper's storytelling process. Editor-in-Chief Olivia Patel hosts this new podcast, which kicked off by unpacking the popular "Miami... Merged" dating series—proving that sometimes the stories behind the stories are just as fascinating as the headlines themselves.
