Good morning, Powell. The local dining landscape continues to evolve as Yabo's Tacos prepares to close its Hilliard location after seven flavorful years. While owner Scott Boles takes steps toward retirement, taco enthusiasts can still satisfy their cravings at the "thriving" Westerville and Lewis Center locations. Meanwhile, sweet-toothed residents have reason to celebrate as Parlor Doughnuts announces its second Central Ohio location, expanding from its Powell shop to a new outpost in Lewis Center's Evans Farm development next month.

This Sunday, rural Ohio transforms into a political hotspot as the 3rd Annual Summer Farm Fest brings together prominent Republican figures at Cook's Farm in Marysville. The free community event blends civic engagement with family-friendly activities including hay rides, bounce houses, and food trucks—offering a relaxed country setting for those interested in connecting with state leadership while enjoying summer festivities from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

🌮 Popular taco joint calls it quits after seven-year run. Yabo's Tacos announced it won't renew the lease for its Hilliard location, with July 31 marking its final day of service. Owner Scott Boles is taking steps toward retirement, according to the announcement posted on the restaurant's door. Fortunately, the entire Hilliard staff will remain employed as a new, yet-to-be-announced restaurant concept takes over the Cemetery Road space. Taco lovers can still visit Yabo's "thriving" locations in Westerville and Lewis Center.
