Good morning, Powell. The next time you see a llama, tip your hat in respect—these animals are helping shape tomorrow's leaders. Just ask Addyston Knauff from Hillsboro, whose decade of 4-H work with her llamas Chester and Tucker has earned her Ohio's prestigious 4-H Llama Achievement Award. The high school senior's dedication will take her all the way to National 4-H Congress in Atlanta this November, representing Ohio while juggling her roles as camp counselor, Junior Leader, and Junior Fair Board president.
Summer reading takes on new meaning at Richwood Library, where turning pages could win you prizes ranging from LEGO sets to an OLED Switch. Meanwhile, Plain City is celebrating its railroad heritage with the grand opening of The Depot at Public Square this Friday. The meticulously restored 1880s railroad building has found new life at the heart of the community after a $401,250 transformation, proving that sometimes the most meaningful destinations are the ones closest to home.

🚂 Historic depot breathes new life into Plain City's heart. The Depot at Public Square, a meticulously restored 1880s railroad building, celebrates its grand opening Friday with a dedication ceremony and festivities. Originally from Brice, Ohio, the 1,473-square-foot structure was purchased from the Fromm family and installed at the corner of East Bigelow Avenue and Church Street—a site historically known as "Public Square." The $401,250 project honors Plain City's railroad heritage while creating a community gathering space available for private rentals. Future phases will add a splash pad, park space, and an indoor marketplace for vendors and events.
