Filmmaker Anita Kwan presented the short film, which explores the often overlooked architectural and cultural significance of duplex housing in neighborhoods like German Village and Franklin Park. The documentary, supported by the Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio, features both historic and contemporary images of these modest yet important residential structures. The film highlights how duplexes have contributed to affordable housing solutions throughout central Ohio's history.
🎓 McClain High grad earns coveted spot on OSU Homecoming Court. Alyson Murphy, a 2022 McClain graduate and former Ohio FFA State Reporter, is pursuing political science at Ohio State with impressive campus involvement. The Greenfield native participates in multiple prestigious programs including the Washington Academic Internship Program, Mortar Board National Honor Society, and serves as a Stamps Eminence Scholar. Murphy describes being a Buckeye as belonging to a community "rooted in tradition, pride and a drive to make a difference" that extends beyond campus. She is the daughter of Roger and Liz Murphy of Greenfield.
