🏭 Ohio welcomes Chinese electronics maker amid rising trade tensions. Eagle Electronics is positioning itself outside Cleveland as new restrictions on Chinese imports loom. The venture, backed by the O.H.I.O. Fund investment group, represents a strategic move to bring high-tech manufacturing to the state. This development comes as both the Biden administration's final policies and Trump's threatened tariffs create uncertainty for overseas electronics production. The timing could prove advantageous for this fledgling Glenwillow-based company as domestic manufacturing becomes increasingly attractive.
🏆 Ravenna Chamber seeks nominations for prestigious Raven Awards. The annual awards recognize outstanding community members in categories including Lifetime Achievement, Volunteer of the Year, and Citizen of the Year.
